Blackheath Cats Protection

In their shop at 18 Old Dover Road (SE3), which is staffed by volunteers, you can search out a bargain or buy your cards, small gifts and diaries. All the profits raised through the shop benefit the local Cats Protection branch enormously. Donations of goods, cat food (there's a special 'bin' for depositing in the shop), clean towels (for cat bedding) are much needed and volunteers are always welcome. If you have a few hours every week or even fortnightly, ask for Tracey (the shop Manager) to find out more about the various ways you can help.

As far as the 'hands on' cat work, Cats Protection need fosterers - so if you have room for a cat pen in your garden or a spare bedroom, please get in touch with them on. All expenses are paid!

Perhaps you are able to give a much needed home to one of the cats? Or want to help in other ways by fundraising, home vetting, helping drive the CP van or organising events? The number to call is 020 8858 0222!
